September in Kansas City - The top 3 events you don't want to miss!
There are only 2 weekends left in September!!! (Let's just take a moment to let that sink in!) This month is FLYING by, so I decided to make a list of the top 3 events you don't want to miss out on this September!
#1. LIBERTY FALL FESTIVAL - September 22-24.
The annual fall festival in Liberty officially begins Friday September 22, at 11:00 a.m. where you can shop the local vendors. The carnival opens at 5:00 p.m on Friday and lasts through the weekend. Don't forget to catch the parade which starts at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning. (The parade starts at Hertiage Middle School on Kansas.) ***PLEASE NOTE - The Overland Park fall festival is also on Saturday September 23, and does NOT go through Sunday. Get all the details here.
#2. SHAWNEE MISSION FALL PUBLIC HAYRIDE - September 24.
If you are a sucker for hay rides and campfires, then you are going to LOVE the Fall Public Hayride in Shawnee Mission! However, you must register by September 23! Find all the details and get registered here.
#3. ZONA ROSA'S VINTAGE MARKET DAYS - September 29- Oct. 1
If you LOVE all things vintage, then you do NOT want to miss Vintage Market Days at Zona Rosa! It's the ultimate vintage shopping experience! Get all the details right here.
Basically, if you want in on the fall festival action, then plan on going this weekend!
If you're thinking, "What about going to the pumpkin patch or apple picking??" don't worry, there is plenty of time for those in October!
